Vineyard {511} Wins Gold Medal

We were extremely excited to learn that our 2010 Vineyard {511} Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon won a Gold Medal at this year's Orange County Fair Commercial Wine Competition.  This is one of the most prestigious competitions in California.  Wines compete in categories, on a blind taste basis, depending on their varietal and price. In our case, we were competing with Cabernet Sauvignons priced at $100 per bottle or more. WOW!

Auction Napa Valley

This year's Auction Napa Valley set a new record raising $18.4 million for Napa Valley community health and children's education nonprofit organizations.  Vineyard {511} participated in the eAuction for the first time, offering three bottles each of our 2009 and 2010 vintages in wooden gift boxes.  We also poured wine at the Marketplace, held at the Charles Krug Winery, where Napa vintners, such as ourselves, poured great wines, and Napa restauranteurs provided delicious tastes of their food.
